Are we losing the skills to build TINY HOMES to today lazy technology? Or even to walk to work?  Stand up from our computer desks to take a break?  Build communities that build the good neighborhoods?

Home building way back when:  Myself, having great-grandparents settling in Lancaster, Pa. back in the 1800's I have learned that they both built their new home by themselves. And having brought their home building skills from their distant homes far away and coming to the USA by ship and applying for their American citizenship and after they pledged their vows to the flag - they put their skills to making their own cement bricks for the foundation and hand sawed their own lumber to build their frame. 

The wall and flooring went up and soon three infants came along.  One was a son (born 1899 my Grandfather) and he learned his parents home building skills and at a marriage age of 18 years old he built his new wife a beautiful home. He used no power saw tools and hand cut all this lumber and built his own cement blocks and dug out the cellar by shovel by his own hand. He did all this while working overtime at his day job, being a volunteer fireman of his neighborhood, became captain of his soccer team, and built the first sports playing field in his neighborhood.  And never applying for driving an auto or owning a Motor Vehicle license.  

He walked to work 6 to 7 days a week and walked to the firehouse (which he help built at age ten) when the alarm went off. He died at the golden age of 89 years old and never once went to visit a doctor.  And he never did invest in any type of electrical power tool.  He passed along his home building skills to all his next of kins.   Puting hammers and nails into the hands of all his sons, daughters, grandsons, & granddaughters and teaching them the home building skills his parents brought along to America way back when.

US Needing to gain control of Medical Costs

For a long time, the United States healthcare system has been very sick!

1. Who is getting richer?  
2. Who is getting poorer?  
3. Who should have control over healthcare costs?  
4. In-Home family healthcare givers are heading for or are now at SS poverty levels

As Americans, all four topics above involves you and the entire US general population!


With the high cost of medical care including dental care, it is about time for politicians to gain some active legal guidelines control over the about of money charged for medically related items, prescription costs, and the all-around medical care in hospitals or in-home medical cost.

1.  Medical price guides for services provided by the healthcare givers. (If a medical item or procedures cost the healthcare giver $1.00 (one dollar) mandate laws that only allows them a reasonable percentage to charge the patient or the patient healthcare insurance company.) 
2.  More pricing competition within USA companies making the prescriptions. Mandate laws to stop overcharging the public for prescriptions that are saving lives. 
3.  Stop allowing prescription drugs to be shipped to the US making sure the prescriptions are correct.  (I don't want to take a prescription pill that was made or shipped from far away countries to the US just so the drug store can save themselves $10.00) Do You?  
4.  Offer US citizens a discount/or no costs for medical college related degrees.  
5.  Create jobs that help mandate healthcare costs.
6.  Incentives:  Offering family members that are taking care of the sick, elders, or terminally ill family members at home a generous fee since doing this save millions of dollars a day to tend to them at-home instead of in-hospital care or nursing homes.  Some doing so now and/or some that did it before have been losing valuable time off the SS systems for having no work history.   Thus, when it is time for them to retire they come up short in their SS money and sometimes in SS poverty income.    Some will need to apply for food stamps and/or government poverty funding.
7. Offer family members early on important educational information to give them the tools to take care of their elder or terminally family members at home.
8.  Take a look at how important it is for your heart health to have proper dental care.  Next, take a look at your dentist bill.  Who has control over what your dentist is charging?  NO ONE IS WATCHING! Or try to make an appointment for free dental care,  which you may have to wait for months to get in to see a dentist.
9.  Level hefty fines for those in the healthcare business that is overbilling, scamming billing or are overcharging patients or the patient's healthcare insurances.  Put those fines back into the SS system to amend time lost for family members that are taking care of the sick, elders or terminally ill family members at home.

New DUI law while driving - THC levels

The bottom line is to be smart and don't drive under the influence of any kind of drug or alcohol.

The smart general public should have enough sense to follow the rules so not to upset the apple cart and losing the right to use THC for health reasons or whatever..?

Police Departments and Government Officials are working really hard together to set legal limits for THC in your system while driving. Not only in Colorado but other states that have or are ready to legalize the use of THC.

*If you live in states or are visiting the states that allow legal use of THC you should check the newest laws before you inhale or light up.

And THC laws will be changing until the cart runs smoothly.

As of October 1st, 2016 the laws have changed in Colorado. A new DUI law is in effect in Colorado which sets a legal limit for the amount of active THC in your system while driving. The legal limit is 5 nanograms per milliliter of blood. This law was fiercely debated with the main issue being that people metabolize THC at different rates and as a result, the amount of impairment varies drastically from person to person. Unlike alcohol, where if you are over 0.08 you are impaired, it's hard to determine if a person is impaired or not based upon THC levels alone.

Vermont Senate approves recreational marijuana bill. MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) The Vermont Senate Wednesday afternoon approved a marijuana legalization bill. "I think it reflects the will of Vermonters, and it's been an ongoing process for a long time," said Lt. Gov. David Zuckerman.

The vote make Vermont the first state in the country to authorize the recreational use of marijuana by an act of the Legislature as opposed to a ballot measure. The House passed the bill last week.

"I'm excited that we've gotten to this point again. I believe this is an important step, it's an important criminal justice reform. It's an important statement that the Vermont Legislature recognizes that prohibition is a failure," said Laura Subin with the Vt. Coalition to Regulate Marijuana.

Not all members of the Senate agree. Senator Brian Collamore, R-Rutland County, is among those who voted no. "I don't think it sends a particularly positive message to our youth, but that's probably going to be overcome with some educational efforts down the road," he said.

If the bill were to become come law here's what it would look like: Vermonters over the age of 21 would be allowed to possess up to one ounce of pot. They could also have two mature plants and four immature plants. Only one person can cultivate plants per dwelling and landlords can refuse to allow growing. It also includes a change demanded by Governor Phil Scott -- a new misdemeanor crime for providing anyone under 21 with marijuana. READ MORE

How we learn to say it as DOT COM

Where would our world be today if the DOT never existed? That little small dot before .com, .us, .biz .org .me .us & etc. is offering allot of knowledge to world. That little small DOT does all the command for reaching any website. Never did I think 30 years ago a DOT would mean so much! Who would have know back then that tiny little DOT was going to grow into something really HUGE!

How about Twitter's DOT? What does dot before @ sign in Twitter mean? At-replies that start @person can only be seen by people following both the sender and the recipient. Putting a dot (.) (or anything else) first makes the tweet visible by all of the sender's followers, just like a normal tweet.

How about sending and receiving emails. It that Dot was missing in the email address you would never get that email!

A dot-com company, or simply a dot-com (alternatively rendered dot.com, dot com or .com), is a company that does most of its business on the Internet, usually through a website that uses the popular top-level domain ".com" or how we are learn to say it as DOT COM) (in turn derived from the word "commercial").

How about search engine? They hate DOTS. If you query string them together they get mad. It may hurt your search engine results. And how about that DOT under the exclamation mark? Who put that there anyhow? LOL

I for one, I know how valuable a Dot is. I've invested thousand of dollars and millions of hours in this Internet DOT because I know the power of it and how valuable it is.

Be original. Write your own content. Collect your own resources. (Or hire someone to do it.)

NEW Google has used Earth and Maps to tell tales of unfolding tragedies

Google has used Earth and Maps to tell tales of unfolding tragedies and soldiers fighting for our country. Now its opening up those tools to the public, allowing users to build what they're calling "Tours" through Google Earth. Tour Builder was released in honor of Veterans Day and it allows users to create narratives tied to points on a map. The process is pretty simple: you drop a marker, add some text, photos or videos and you're on your way. As you piece together your tale, dropping pins, you can pull the viewer down into Street View or fly to a particular angle on a 3D landmark.
While the release of Tour Builder was inspired by Google's work on projects like Map The Fallen and VetNet, it obviously has much broader application. Whether it's spicing up your typical vacation slideshow or building a presentation to teach students about the Civil War. Check out the video demo after the break.
